Hey friends.

I'm currently travelling through Europe (heading to Rome this morning)!

I've been thinking about doing a special edition newsletter where I share some lessons from my travels.

If you'd be interested in something like this, simply reply to this email.

P.S. If you have any must-do recommendations for Rome (or other places in Europe) send them my way!

I struggled to build a reading habit.

Each year I would set a goal to read moreβ€”and each year I would fail.

Two things helped me break this cycle:

  1. Buying a Kindle (not sponsored, I just really love my Kindle)
  2. Signing up for Shortform

Shortform makes the best book summaries in the world.

I love how they highlight the key lessons from books without losing any important context.

Here are 3 of their summaries everyone should check out:

  1. The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
  2. The Courage to be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi
  3. How to Become a People Magnet by Marc Reklau

P.S. The first 1,000 people who sign up with my link will get a 5-day trial + 20% off the annual plan.

How to spot high agency people

Loved this post from the always great George Mack.

A little context behind the phrase:

"High Agency is a sense that the story given to you by other people about what you can/cannot do is just that - a story. And that you have control over the story. A High Agency person looks to bend reality to their will. They either find a way, or they make a way."

The video I watch when I'm feeling unmotivated - DO WHAT YOU CAN'T

If there's ever been a video that exemplifies the idea of "High Agency" it's this.

I dare you to not get goosebumps.

A framework to help you prioritize

Whitney Wolfe (founder of Bumble) on how she stays focused:

"I really try to ask myself the question of nine. Will this matter in nine minutes, nine hours, nine days, nine weeks, nine months or nine years? If it will truly matter for all of those, pay attention to it. If it isn't going to matter in nine minutes, nine hours or nine days from now, you need to not pay attention to it."

A must-read thread for anyone in their 20s (or any age) - Twitter thread

If you want to build an internet business, there's no better person to learn from than Justin Welsh.

If you don't use Twitter (X) you can read it here.

Don't underestimate the power of memes

If you loved this newsletter, send it to a friend!

It shows you care (πŸ˜‰).

Have a great week!
